SOUTH PARK MALL AND COTTON INCORPORATED
MAKE BACK-TO-SCHOOL SHOPPING BUDGET-FRIENDLY
Gift-With-Purchase Program Rewards Shoppers
San Antonio, Tx – South Park Mall and Cotton Incorporated, the research and marketing company representing upland cotton, unveiled a recession-friendly Back-to-School promotion that rewards shoppers with a $20 gift card when they spend $150 or more on cotton merchandise. The program has launched in 20 malls nationwide until September 30th, while supplies last.
“This gift-with-purchase can help consumers put together a new fall wardrobe while still staying within budget in these tough economic times,” says Paula G. Rosario, Vice President, Consumer Marketing – Strategic Alliances, Cotton Incorporated. “Plus, our new advertising campaign, The Fabric of My LifeTM, illustrates cotton’s fashionability and versatility for a whole new generation of young female consumers – which are exactly what resonate with them in this back-to-school shopping season,” Rosario adds.
Shoppers who wish to take advantage of this promotion will simply need to present receipts totaling $150 or more on cotton merchandise to the Customer Service Center through September 30, or while supplies last, in one of the 20 malls participating in this promotion nationwide.
Additionally, for the first time ever, shoppers will be able to text a specific keyword to the mall that will enter them for a chance to win a mall shopping spree, as well as opt in to receive five retail discount offers for cotton merchandise.
“We’re delighted to partner once again with Cotton Incorporated to encourage shoppers to take advantage of this back-to-school shopping season, and we’re excited about integrating a mobile marketing campaign into the promotion as well,” says John Carrell, Marketing Manager at South Park Mall.
Cotton Incorporated, funded by U.S. growers of upland cotton and importers of cotton and cotton textile products, is the research and marketing company representing upland cotton. The Program is designed and operated to improve the demand for and profitability of cotton.
